For those of you serving overseas, you are fully aware of the deadlines that you need to make in order to have your vote count. However, these deadlines are often out of your control. You may meet the deadline and mail in your ballot, however it may not make it back home in enough time. This is not unusual given the time involved to mail back your ballot. It is important we ensure those who are overseas protecting that right today are able to have their votes counted.
