Like many of you, we have the tradition of sharing what we are thankful for at Thanksgiving dinner. This year I am most thankful for our health and for being settled. If you move frequently or are in the midst of a move, my holiday wish for you is the same – to be settled. There is a comfort and familiarity to be in a place for a while. For those of you who have moved away from friends and family for the first time and this is your first holiday season away from them, my heart goes out to you. Try to stay positive. Think of this as an opportunity to start your own family traditions. Have some new friends over if you like a busy house or have a nice quiet evening with your family. Just think you will not have the pressure to hurry yourself between several households and eat several large meals in one day as not to offend your relatives.
