If you are preparing to move and are undertaking spring cleaning, don’t forget your outdoor space if you have it. As I mentioned earlier, your outdoor space is the first impression you have on a potential buyer. Therefore, you definitely want to get out there and clear out. Look at your front and back yard and first remove any dead plants, ugly planters, old toys, pet bits, and old newspapers. You want to make sure that the outside does not disappoint or look unkept. It is especially hard during this time of year when very little of landscaping is nice. So making sure everything looks clean and crisp is so important. It is amazing what a simple clear out can do and it will not cost you anything but some sweat equity.
